Gearing up for Kiel's 4th birthday party!

Four!!  

How did this happen? 

Wasn't it just last year that I was anxiously waiting for you to decide to make an appearance?

Didn't you just turn one a few months ago?

And two last month?

And I know it was only last week you turned three.

I guess I can't stop it from happening. On Saturday you turn four!

Tomorrow you will treat your friends at preschool to pizza and cupcakes.

 

Cupcakes your Mommy made by the way. Because as you tell me at least once a day, I am the best mommy in the world!

I made a few extras for home.

 And you gave them the Kiel smile of approval!

 Karate party for all your friends on Saturday! I can't wait! And neither can you!

My favorite sugar rush

I made a baby shower cake for one of my coworkers last weekend. We were going to have the shower on Tuesday. Guess we waited to long. She had her baby early that morning. Oh well, we all enjoyed the cake anyway.

Here it is. It was the first time I tried using marshmallow fondant. It was kind of fun. I'll try it again sometime. And the cake only took about 10 hours to make.
